This all-day event is for local and foreign companies interested in exploring business opportunities abroad. The Forum focuses on providing local companies with insight into the export process. In addition, US companies will connect with potential foreign buyers and distributors as well as foreign companies looking for US service. Foreign companies will increase their knowledge of establishing businesses in the U.S. as well as meet potential clients.

This year, we have collaborated with the City of San Antonio and the World Affairs Council to invite consular attendees to join in the Forum. Consular staff from Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, Japan, Panama, and many more have all been invited to present the opportunities and resources in their respective countries .

Immediately following the Forum, there will be a reception for foreign diplomats and trade representatives, co-hosted by the World Affairs Council and the City of San Antonio International Relations Office at the Plaza Club. All Forum attendees are invited to register for this Reception.

San Antonio for Growth on the Eastside (SAGE) is delighted to present the first Promize Zone to Entrepreneurship Conference 6-hour educational summit for Eastside residents with interests in starting and managing their own businesses. Only 100 applicants will be accepted to this 6-hour crash course in entrepreneurship training.
+ Track 1: BUSINESS OWNERSHIP 101: This class will provide people who are interested in becoming small business owners with the resources to begin a business
+ Track 2: UNDERSTANDING FINANCES: This class will be for current business owners and will touch on the importance of understanding financial statements and the role financial documents play in business and financing decisions.
After the training participants will gather for lunch and a panel discussion with top procurement/purchasing executives and/or small business owners. There will be time to network with all participants, organizations in attendance and potential future customers.
Preferential application points will be given to:

● Eastside business owners
● Formerly incarcerated persons
● Minority, women and veteran entrepreneurs or entrepreneur-hopefuls

Stumberg Competition (25k for student startups!) @ CSI Trinity University
