2nd Annual (EIE) Educate, Inspire and Employ Scholarship Breakfast

Our Mission is to be a service provider to persons with physical, social, emotional and mental challenges to find work and become self-sufficient. IN HONOR OF DREAMWEEK – Join us as we hold our 2nd Annual Scholarship Breakfast. This year is our E.I.E. (Educate, Inspire & Employ) someone “at-risk” Scholarship Breakfast. Scholarships will be awarded to two young adults labeled “at-risk” due to limited resources and opportunities. Our purpose is to improve the lives of people in our community through Job Skills Training/Vocational Adjustment Training and Job Placement.          Key Note Speaker:                                  Angela Alexander                                           Best-Selling Author, Inspirational Speaker and Filmmaker                                      “Miracles in Action”  Turning Pain into Power and Grief into Peace  On April Fool’s Day 2000, while Angela was in Japan on military duty her husband and four children were in a fatal car crash. Sadly her two eight-year-old sons didn’t survive. The miracle is although Murice and Roger passed instantly at the scene God allowed both to write and leave behind incredible good-bye letters. Angela said, “Each letter was written above and beyond their age and grade level, and answered specific questions that I would have wondered about for the rest of my life.” In 2005 Angela Alexander retired from the Air Force Reserves, and now an Author & Inspirational Speaker of her autobiography titled ‘Miracles in Action ~ Turning Pain into Power and Grief into Peace’, and the Executive Producer of her documentary film.  Come out and hear the glory behind the story of this absolutely fascinating, supernatural testimony from the living God we serve! **Two recipients will receive tools to help enhance their professional job search. Scholarship packages to include;  20 hours of One-on-One instruction(s) with a state certified job coach teaching soft skills, socially appropriate behavioral  training, *Self-Esteem, Conflict Resolutions, Clothing Allowance (job attire), Tablet, Professional Resume and Job Placement.
